The
OpenText Cloud Platform (OCP)
is our next-generation Information Management as a Service platform, built to empower OpenText, its customers, and partners in building multi-tenant SaaS applications. The Developer Cloud initiative is a critical strategic pillar, focused on unlocking the full potential of our platform by enabling programmatic access to all our powerful information management services, enabling our customers and partners to customize, extend our SaaS Applications and integrate information management capabilities into their business applications.

Your impact
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary product management leader to drive the Developer Cloud initiative for the OpenText Cloud Platform (OCP). In this role, you will be the driving force behind a complete transformation of our developer experience. Your mission is to create a vibrant and thriving ecosystem that empowers internal and external developers, as well as AI agents, to build the next generation of business applications on our platform. This is a unique opportunity to redefine how developers and intelligent systems interact with information management at a global scale.

What The Role Offers

• Product Vision & Strategy: Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Developer Cloud. This includes identifying market opportunities, understanding the needs of developers and AI agents, and setting a clear path for a comprehensive suite of APIs, SDKs, tools, and SaaS applications.
• Transforming the Developer Experience: This is the core of your mandate. You will be responsible for creating a delightful and frictionless developer experience from the very first interaction. This includes:
• Strategic Alignment: Partner with PM leadership across Business units to align the Developer Cloud roadmap with the broader OCP strategy, understand their needs and challenges in evolving their information management services on the platform. You will communicate the value of the platform-based approach to key stakeholders, securing buy-in and resources for critical initiatives.
• Ecosystem Development & Extension: Drive the adoption of the Developer Cloud by enabling customers and partners to extend and customize our existing SaaS applications on the OCP. Your strategy will foster a robust partner ecosystem where external developers and system integrators can build, market, and sell their own value-added solutions on top of the OCP, creating a network effect for growth.
• Go-to-Market & Business Development: Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to drive the adoption of the Developer Cloud. This includes collaborating with internal product teams to foster a platform-first mindset and building a compelling value proposition for external developers, partners, and AI integrators.
• Leadership & Execution: Lead and mentor a team of product managers, and collaborate effectively with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support to ensure successful product launches and ongoing success.

What You Need To Suceed

• Product management experience, with a significant focus on B2B SaaS platforms, APIs, and developer-facing products.
• Proven experience leading product teams and successfully launching large-scale developer platforms or ecosystems.
• Deep understanding of the API economy and the needs of both human and machine API consumers.
• Demonstrable experience with or knowledge of the emerging AI agent ecosystem, including concepts like function calling, tool use, and API readiness for LLMs.
• Expertise in secure information management, data governance, and compliance in a cloud environment.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage in detailed architectural and technical discussions with engineering teams.
