Full-time (37.5 hours)

The Role:

We are working with a finance team looking for a Management Accountant to join them in Glasgow. This is a hands-on role, providing support across departments, producing insightful management reporting, and helping drive financial performance. The successful candidate will be proactive, solutions-focused, and confident in working with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts with clear analysis and commentary.
  • Produce performance dashboards and reports to support departmental decision-making.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and supplier payments.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and balance sheet reconciliations, identifying opportunities for efficiencies.
  • Prepare VAT returns and year-end accounts, supporting audits as required.
  • Calculate commissions and bonuses accurately and on time.
  • Build strong working relationships with managers, providing clear and constructive financial guidance.

Reporting to: Financial Controller / Finance Director

What We're Looking For:

  • ICAS, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
  • Proven Management Accounting experience (retail or stock accounting experience desirable but not essential).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Positive and resilient approach, able to build rapport quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style.
  • Advanced Excel and strong financial systems skills.
