A leading FTSE-listed global natural resources company is seeking a technically strong Group Reporting Accountant to join its high-performing team. Operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, this business offers exceptional opportunities for internal progression and professional growth.

As a Group Reporting Accountant, you will be a key member of the Group Finance team, contributing to the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements for interim and year-end reporting. You'll ensure compliance with IFRS, support complex consolidation processes, and act as a trusted advisor on technical accounting matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review note disclosures for annual and interim reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate Group financial reporting processes.
  • Provide expert support on HFM consolidation and respond to ad hoc queries.
  • Review financial submissions from business units and advise on technical accounting issues.
  • Advise on opportunities for improved cost management, monitoring costs and identifying variances
  • Collaborate on finance projects, applying IFRS knowledge and project management skills.
  • Work with Finance Systems to implement changes to the Group consolidation system.
  • Deliver training on accounting developments to business units and Group functions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
  • Must have experience in an accountancy practice
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience in group consolidations.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting within a large multinational.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ideally ERP systems, including Hyperion &/or SAP
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively across diverse teams.
