Senior Management Accountant

£70,000 + Package | London (Hybrid)

We're seeking a Senior Management Accountant who enjoys being in the thick of things — someone who likes to get involved, take ownership, and deliver practical solutions. This is a hands-on role within a fast-growing tech business where your work will have visible impact across the organisation.

You'll be part of a collaborative finance team, working closely with operations, commercial teams, and senior stakeholders to provide accurate financial insight, drive efficiency, and support strategic decision-making. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to combine technical accounting expertise with commercial involvement.

What the role involves

  • Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts with actionable insight for the business.
  • Leading balance sheet reconciliations, review of journals, and key accounting schedules.
  • Supporting the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process.
  • Producing variance analysis, KPIs, and reporting to support commercial and operational decisions.
  • Working closely with internal teams on budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow planning.
  • Contributing to process improvements and the development of reporting systems.
  • Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
  • Collaborating with teams across product, operations, and commercial areas on ad hoc projects.

Who we're looking for

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) — newly or recently qualified.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business and taking ownership of tasks.
  • Excellent Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Commercially aware, proactive, and solutions-focused.
  • Confident communicator who can work across all levels of the business.
  • A hands-on, practical approach — someone who enjoys "doing the doing."
