Employment Solicitor – Manchester

This established team is looking for an experienced employment solicitor to add strength to the Manchester team. They advise a broad range of commercial clients—from major PLCs and national limited companies to tech disruptors, media giants, and leading retail brands. Excellent mix of contentious and non-contentious work

This exciting employment team is looking to hire an experience Associate with 1 PQE or more experience to add depth to their overall offering. Expect a fantastic mix of transactional and advisory matters. The team also handles quality contentious and tribunal work:

  • Employment tribunal litigation (including nationally reported cases)
  • Strategic advice on restructures, whistleblowing, and discrimination matters
  • Corporate support on M&A transactions and TUPE issues
  • Working closely with the lead Partner and wider team on complex, high-value matters

The Partners are always ready to consider candidates with a broad range of experience. PQE is only ever given as a guide and whilst respondent employment experience is preferred, the team is also open to considering candidates with a claimant background. As a general guide applicants should be able to demonstrate:

  • 1 PQE+
  • Strong background in employment law from a reputable practice
  • Solid respondent experience across both contentious and advisory matters
  • Confident communicator with a commercial mindset
  • Enthusiastic about building client relationships and contributing to team growth
