Complex Care Assistant

Location: Bristol

Salary: £14.60 – £17.99 per hour

Hours: Full-Time / Part-Time, flexible shifts including weekdays and weekends

Our client is seeking compassionate Complex Care Assistants to support individuals with complex health needs in their own homes across Bristol. You'll help clients live with dignity, independence, and comfort, providing person-centred care every day.

Whether you're experienced in complex care or new to the sector, we'll give you full training and support to help you thrive in this rewarding role.

What You'll Be Doing In this role, you'll provide vital care and companionship for clients with a range of complex needs:

  • Personal Care: Support clients with washing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene with dignity and respect
  • Health Support: Assist with medication, mobility, condition monitoring, and specialist medical equipment
  • Complex Needs Care: Tailor support for neurological conditions, dementia, physical disabilities, and chronic illnesses
  • Companionship: Offer emotional support and encourage engagement and mental wellbeing
  • Daily Living Assistance: Help with meal preparation, light household duties, and shopping
  • Record Keeping: Maintain clear and accurate care notes, communicating effectively with healthcare professionals

Who You Are We're looking for someone who is:

  • Caring, patient, and empathetic with excellent communication skills
  • Confident working independently or as part of a supportive team
  • Experienced in complex care (desirable, not essential)
  • Holder of a valid UK driving licence
