Care Assistant – Evenings and Weekends (Self-Employed)

Up to £18 per hour | Local flexible support | Minimum 1 hour visits

Do you have experience supporting people at home and want flexible evening and weekend work that truly makes a difference?

Your Care introduces trusted, self-employed personal care assistants to adults who would benefit from support in their own homes later in the day. Our focus is on thoughtful matching so both you and the person you support feel comfortable and relaxed.

What the Role Involves

You will be matched with clients who value friendly, unhurried support in the evenings and at weekends. Support may include:

  • Personal care to maintain dignity and wellbeing
  • Assistance with evening routines and independence
  • Meal preparation and light household tasks
  • Medication reminders and encouragement
  • Companionship and conversation
  • Helping someone wind down comfortably at the end of the day

All visits are a minimum of one hour so you have time to provide genuine support.

Where You Will Work

Local support visits across East Bristol and parts of South Gloucestershire including but not limited to:

  • Kingswood, Warmley, Longwell Green
  • Keynsham and Hanham
  • Fishponds and Downend

Mileage paid by clients at 55p per mile when using your own vehicle for during your visits.

When You Will Work

  • Evening and weekend visits
  • You choose your regular days and hours in advance
  • Work will be offered based on the agreed availability you provide

What You Will Earn

  • Up to £18 per hour - double time on all bank holidays
  • Minimum 1 hour visits never rushed
  • Ability to build a consistent local client base
  • Freedom to increase hours as it suits you

You are paid fairly for your time and skill.
