We are looking for a Product Development Assistant to support the development of fashion accessories across categories such as slippers, gloves, hats, scarves, and umbrellas for the Totes Isotoner brand. This role is ideal for a fashion graduate with a strong interest in product creation, materials, and accessories. Working closely with design, merchandising, and sourcing teams, the Product Development Assistant helps ensure that all products meet quality, design, and commercial standards while learning the full product lifecycle from concept to production.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


• Assist in the development of seasonal collections from concept through final sample approval.


• Help prepare and update tech packs, materials lists, and product specifications.


• Track and organize samples, swatches, and components for reviews and meetings.


• Maintain product development trackers and ensure all data is accurate and up to date.


• Support communication with overseas vendors on sample requests, costing, and product updates.


• Help source new materials, trims, and components aligned with seasonal direction.


• Assist in tracking sample shipments and ensuring timely delivery.


• Participate in reviewing development samples for quality, construction, and design accuracy.


• Support fit and wear testing for comfort-based products such as slippers and gloves.


• Help coordinate comments and approvals with the wider product and QA teams.


• Work collaboratively with design, merchandising, and production teams.


• Assist in preparing for seasonal range reviews, presentations, and line meetings.


• Maintain clear and organized communication across departments and with suppliers.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES


• In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties as may be assigned by your manager from time to time, consistent with the experience normally expected for a position at this level.

JOB REQUIREMENTS


• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, Product Development, or a related discipline.


• Strong interest in fashion accessories, product creation, and consumer lifestyle products.


• Understanding of the need to comply with company procedure regarding confidentiality and security of information.


• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.


• Good working knowledge of MS Office: Word and Excel. Adobe Illustrator/photoshop and advantage


• Excellent organizational and time management skills.


• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.


• Enthusiasm to learn and grow within a collaborative product development team.
