We are seeking a passionate and experienced Art Teacher to join our dedicated staff team.
The RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Art Teacher who is committed to inspiring creativity and supporting student achievement. Key responsibilities include:
• Teaching engaging and high-quality Art Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Planning and delivering a rich and inclusive curriculum that encourages self-expression, creativity, and technical skill.
• Supporting students in developing their work across a range of artistic disciplines, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media.
• Providing targeted feedback and support to help students progress and develop confidence in their artistic ability.
• Working collaboratively with other Art Teachers and faculty to uphold the school's faith-based ethos within the curriculum.
• Organising and promoting extracurricular opportunities such as art clubs, exhibitions, and creative projects that reflect the school's values.
We're looking for an experienced Art Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Art or a related field.
Has a successful track record as an Art Teacher, particularly within Key Stages 3 and 4.
Has strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach a range of traditional and contemporary artistic techniques.
Demonstrates a passion for nurturing creativity in young people and supporting their holistic development.
Can integrate the school's faith values into lessons and wider departmental work.
Possesses excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues, students, and families.
Is committed to contributing to a vibrant and inclusive creative culture within the school.
