About the Role

As an Art Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching Art and Design across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with the potential to teach A-Level content.

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across various media, such as drawing, painting, printmaking, and digital art.

• Inspiring students to think critically, foster creativity, and develop their own artistic style.

• Providing constructive feedback and support to ensure student progress and achievement.

• Contributing to the broader life of the department, including running art clubs, organizing exhibitions, and providing additional enrichment opportunities.

• Collaborating with colleagues to continually enhance the curriculum and share effective teaching strategies.

What We're Looking For

We welcome applications from experienced Art Teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Art, Fine Art, or Art & Design.

• Have a proven track record of teaching Art at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5, with experience delivering A-Level content.

• Are passionate about art education, with strong subject knowledge and a creative teaching approach.

• Can engage and challenge students of all abilities while maintaining high standards of achievement and behaviour.

• Are committed to being a collaborative team player and contributing to the school's wider culture of excellence.

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a commitment to their own personal and professional development.
