Biology Teacher – Coventry School Welcomes ECTs and Experienced Educators

Location: Coventry

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Your Role as a Biology Teacher

As a Biology Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging Biology lessons at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 if appropriate)

  • Creating a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and achievement

  • Supporting the development of practical skills through well-structured lab activities

  • Contributing to extracurricular science opportunities and enrichment

  • Collaborating with a team of passionate Biology Teachers who share a love for the subject

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a dedicated Biology Teacher who:

  • Holds QTS (or is on track to achieve it by summer 2025)

  • Has a degree in Biology or a closely related subject

  • Brings energy, creativity, and strong subject knowledge to the classroom

  • Is committed to high standards and student progress

  • Works well as part of a team and values collaborative teaching
