Night Healthcare Assistant – Seaford (19:30–07:30)

We're looking for a caring, reliable Night Healthcare Assistant to join our family-run nursing home in Seaford. You'll be part of a stable, friendly team that genuinely values compassion, teamwork, and a sense of humour.

About the role

You'll support residents throughout the night with personal care, repositioning, and comfort needs, ensuring their safety and dignity at all times. You'll complete accurate electronic care records and communicate clearly with the day team to maintain excellent continuity of care.

Hours: 19:30 – 07:30 (paid 12 hours including breaks)

We prefer full-time applicants, but can support those with limited availability. You'll need to be happy working weekends on a rota basis.

Experience and skills

  • Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential – full training provided
  • Basic IT skills for care record keeping and communication
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with residents, families, and colleagues
