Growth Marketing Lead

Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 Base (dependent on experience)
Role: Your mission will be to lead and scale our entire ecommerce operation to achieve our ambitious growth targets. You'll be responsible for building & optimizing ALL growth-driving levers in our D2C business, including but not limited to: scaling our paid acquisition channels profitably, improving website CVR/AOV through landing page & offer tests, maximizing customer LTV with subscription/retention optimizations, developing comprehensive email and SMS strategies, implementing robust analytics and reporting frameworks, optimizing marketing funnels to drive conversion, overseeing organic content strategy, and building a high-performing ecommerce team.

Core Job Responsibilities
- Oversee all conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives including landing page testing, checkout flow optimization, and offer structure experiments
- Develop and implement comprehensive customer retention strategies to maximize LTV, including subscription optimization
- Manage email and SMS marketing channels to maximize revenue from owned audiences
- Direct the creation and optimization of all marketing and product funnels to improve conversion rates
- Lead website UX/UI improvements to enhance customer experience and drive conversion
- Oversee paid media strategy across all channels, with emphasis on scaling Meta advertising profitably while maintaining CAC targets
Additional Functions
- Work closely with the founder to shape overall business strategy and growth initiatives
- Implement robust analytics and reporting systems to track all key ecommerce metrics
- Establish standard operating procedures for all ecommerce functions as the business scales
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, product expansions, and growth channels
- Manage relationships with key ecommerce partners, agencies, and technology providers
Success Metrics
- Achieve aggressive revenue growth targets while maintaining or improving profitability metrics
- Improve key performance indicators including CAC, AOV, LTV, conversion rates, and retention metrics
- Successfully scale the organization from current revenue to £100M ARR by end of 2026
Core Skills
- Strategic Leadership: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive ecommerce growth strategies
- Data Analysis: Expert capability in analyzing customer data to inform business decisions
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of ecommerce platforms, CRO tools, and marketing technologies
- Team Building: Proven track record of building and leading high-performing ecommerce teams
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across departments to drive cohesive strategies
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of unit economics, P&L management, and financial modeling
Qualification
- 3+ years experience in ecommerce leadership roles, ideally at a fast-growing health and wellness brand (not necessary)
- Proven track record scaling DTC brands from 7 to 8 figures in annual revenue
- Extensive experience with subscription business models and retention strategies
- Deep knowledge of Meta advertising and other paid acquisition channels at scale (£300k+/month spend)
- Experience building and optimizing high-conversion marketing funnels
- Strong background in data-driven decision making and performance marketing
Compensation & Perks
Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 (dependent on experience) + Performance Bonus (Up to 50%)
