Job Description

Would you like to lead the transformation of how we engage consumers & fans at the LEGO Group? Join us in Digital Consumer Engagement (DCE) and lead the Data, Analytics & Business Improvement team to support us in building meaningful consumer relationships

Core Responsibilities

  • Owns business accountability for the LEGO Group's consumer data strategy – How we responsibly and effectively collect and use behavioural data

  • Leads a global team of analytics & insights partners, data & reporting enablement specialists, and business improvement experts

  • Acts as the business owner for product teams delivering the enabling and data functions of the connected digital ecosystem

  • Work closely with product teams, marketers, content publishers, and audience strategy teams to deliver product insights to optimise product development

  • Partner closely with measurement teams across the LEGO Group to model and continually improve the commercial effectiveness of upper funnel brand building & consumer engagement initiatives on LEGO owned channels

  • Work closely with key internal partners including the Data Office and Legal team to ensure that data is being collected responsibly, processed and managed ethically, according to appropriate legislation and the LEGO Group's values – Acts as the business owner of our global Cookie & Privacy policies

  • Ensure the connected digital ecosystem becomes a source of data for the whole organisation, powering up product and marketing development

The Data, Analytics & Business Improvement team is an analytics & continuous improvement practice within the LEGO Group's Digital Consumer Engagement (DCE) function. We focus on building meaningful, long-lasting relationships with consumers and shoppers, and we do this through the ethical and effective use of data.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven senior leadership experience in digital product related analytics & insights or consumer data

  • Business transformation or consulting experience, and track record of leading projects and people with global scale

  • Passionate about building strong and sustainable relationships with partners based on clearly defined priorities and accountabilities

  • Experience in consumer digital products or services with strong consumer brands – demonstrated understanding of the fundamentals of brand marketing, and how to effectively engage consumers

  • Have demonstrated results through others in a matrix organisation

  • Able to prioritise well and engage with a change mindset with the ability to take people on the journey
