We're supporting a consultancy that specialises in business and digital transformation, known for fostering strong relationships while designing and delivering large-scale, complex transformations worldwide.

They're seeking a Head of Data with AI experience to in large data projects for a Professional Services client. This is a key senior role which will sit on the technology leadership. This person will be responsible for setting up the data structure and team.

Tasks
  • Set up the data structure, foundational architecture, and supporting team
  • Map existing processes and data lineage, identifying gaps, opportunities, and improved ways of working
  • Drive enterprise-wide data quality, analytics, and insight to enable confident, data-driven decision-making
Requirements
  • An independent consultant with a consulting background
  • Proven leadership in building and scaling data functions, including data engineering, analytics, governance, and data science teams
  • Deep technical expertise across modern data architectures, tooling, cloud platforms, and best-practice data governance frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into actionable, data-driven initiatives that improve decision-making, operational performance, and organisational maturity
