Registered Manager – Reablement Services (Temporary)

Seven Resourcing is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to provide leadership and stability during a period of service redesign at a residential reablement unit in Gloucester.

The Role:

You will lead the day-to-day running of an 18-bed CQC-registered reablement service, guiding the team through organisational changes while maintaining high standards of care and smooth service delivery.

About the Service:

A short-term reablement unit (up to 4 weeks per resident) supporting adults to regain confidence, mobility, and daily living skills with input from a multidisciplinary team. The service is rated Good across all CQC areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full CQC compliance and safe, effective, person-centred care.
  • Lead, supervise, and support staff during a period of service redesign.
  • Maintain strong communication with teams, professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee staffing levels, recruitment, performance, and wellbeing.
  • Manage budgets, resources, premises, and equipment.
  • Ensure timely referrals, assessments, and safe discharge planning.
  • Promote independence-focused reablement and positive resident outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and support the rollout of digital care systems.
  • Lead service improvements, audits, and quality monitoring.
  • Support emergency responses and safeguard residents at all times.

About You:

  • Level 5 Leadership/Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Strong background as a Registered Manager in adult care.
  • Skilled in people management, service improvement, and change management.
  • Confident leading teams through transition and maintaining high-quality, person-centred practice.
