Digital Transformation Programme Manager

Location:
Gloucester (2 days per week on-site, hybrid working)

Salary:
Up to £59,000 per annum

Our client, a leading public sector organisation, is seeking a
Digital Transformation Programme Manager
to lead and deliver key initiatives driving their digital agenda. This role plays a vital part in shaping how the organisation uses technology to improve services, efficiency, and user experience across its operations.

What you'll do

  • Lead and oversee the delivery of a multi-year digital transformation programme
  • Define programme strategy, governance, and delivery frameworks aligned to organisational goals
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to prioritise and manage digital initiatives
  • Manage programme budgets, resources, and risks to ensure successful outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement through innovation, process optimisation, and adoption of new technologies

You'll work closely with IT, change management, and operational teams to deliver projects that enhance digital maturity and service performance.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience managing large-scale digital or transformation programmes
  • Strong understanding of public sector governance, assurance, and delivery practices
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, communication, and influencing at senior levels
  • Experience with agile and change delivery methodologies
  • Excellent planning, budgeting, and risk management skills
