About Us

At Wycombe Wanderers Foundation, we operate across four strategic pillars:
Sports Participation, Education, Health & Wellbeing, and Inclusion & Cohesion
. We believe every person should have the opportunity to live a healthy, fulfilling life, regardless of background or circumstance.

You'll join a passionate, purpose-driven team based at Adams Park, where your work will combine hands-on delivery with strategic leadership. Every day, you'll see the positive difference your work makes.

What You'll Do

As Senior Development Officer, Health & Inclusion, you will:

  • Lead design, delivery and growth of health, wellbeing and inclusion programmes responding to local needs
  • Own funding and project management: bid writing, budgets, KPI reporting, evaluation
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with local authorities, health providers, schools and community groups
  • Use data and insight to track outcomes, inform continuous improvement and strengthen the case for investment
  • Represent the Foundation at events, partnership meetings and forums
  • Champion safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusive practices across all work
  • Support departmental financial planning and value-for-money delivery
  • Innovate and adapt: bring new ideas, pilot approaches and embed learning over time

You should bring:

  • Proven experience in health, wellbeing or inclusion delivery (community, education, health, or charity settings)
  • A strong understanding of health and social inequalities in local communities
  • Track record of developing or managing funding applications and managing budgets
  • Excellent skills in partnership working, stakeholder engagement and communication
  • Comfort in both "on the ground" delivery and strategic oversight
  • An adaptable, proactive mindset with a passion for making a difference
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusive practice

It's a plus (but not essential) if you have:

  • Experience in the sport-for-development or charity sectors
  • Knowledge of local health systems and public health priorities
  • Supervisory or mentoring experience with staff or volunteers
  • Qualifications in health, youth work, community development, behaviour change or related fields
