Responsibilities

  • Assisting with site clearance, loading, and unloading materials
  • Supporting tradespeople with their tasks as required
  • Operating basic tools and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Preparing work areas by setting up scaffolding, barriers, or other equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  • Following health and safety protocols at all times
  • Carrying out general labouring duties including digging, lifting, and moving materials
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in construction or labouring roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Good physical fitness with the ability to carry out manual handling tasks
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to safety procedures
  • Reliable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory
