Product Owner – Core Platform (London Market)

Location:
London / Hybrid

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Product Owner with strong London Market insurance knowledge to join the team working on their core platform. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technology partners to define and deliver high-value platform features that drive adoption, efficiency, and alignment with the Market's evolving standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product backlog for core platform capabilities, ensuring alignment with business goals and market priorities.
  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with development, UX, and data teams to deliver value incrementally and iteratively.
  • Engage with London Market stakeholders (brokers, underwriters, associations) to understand workflows, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prioritise platform enhancements to support scalability, interoperability, and data quality.
  • Work with the Programme and Delivery teams to ensure alignment between business outcomes, technology delivery, and TOM development.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap and longer-term vision for their intelligent hub.
  • Support change management and adoption activities across market participants.

Experience & Skills Required

Essential:

  • Proven Product Owner or Business Analyst experience in the London Insurance Market
  • Strong understanding of the London Market process flow.
  • Experience working on core platform or digital transformation programmes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills — able to bridge the gap between business users and technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment with multiple dependencies.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with or around market integration initiatives (e.g. LIMOSS, Blueprint Two, Send, Whitespace, PPL, or ACORD standards).
  • Exposure to Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform, Dynamics, or Azure.
  • Background in product lifecycle management, user experience, or data-driven product design.
