This is a pivotal and high-visibility role within Central Finance, offering regular exposure to C-Suite stakeholders including the CFO and CEO.The role will suit a commercially minded finance leader who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments and is motivated by the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making at Group level.Role PurposeThe FP&A Lead will be responsible for driving high-quality financial insight and group-wide planning, ensuring the Executive Committee and Board receive accurate, timely and commercially relevant analysis. You will play a major role in shaping the3- and 5-year strategic planning cycle, owning critical deliverables that underpin the organisation's long-term growth agenda.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality Board-level reporting , providing clear insight, challenge and recommendations.Lead major elements of the 3- and 5-year Group planning process , collaborating closely with divisional and central stakeholders.Business partner the CFO, CEO and senior leadership, acting as a trusted advisor on performance, risks and opportunities.Drive continuous improvement across FP&A, championing automation, data-led decision-making and the adoption of leading analytical tools .Lead and develop a team of four within FP&A, working alongside an indirect analytics team to enhance modelling, reporting and insight capability.Support Group forecasting, budgeting and performance management, ensuring alignment across divisions.Provide ad-hoc strategic analysis to support investment decisions, transformation initiatives and operational priorities.Candidate ProfileWe are seeking an ambitious FP&A professional with the credibility and drive to operate at the highest level of a FTSE-listed business.Essential Experience:ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified (or equivalent) accountant with extensive (8+ years in industry)Proven experience within a central finance / group FP&A function of a large listed or complex organisation, typically with turnover >£1bn.Demonstrable capability producing Board-quality reporting and interacting confidently with C-Suite executives.Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical skills.A track record of contributing significantly to long-range planning cycles.Comfortable leading teams within a high-performance environment.Passion for modern FP&A tools, automation, data visualisation and process improvement.Personal Attributes:Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.Curious, proactive and commercially astute.Thrives in dynamic, evolving and transformational environments.Resilient, collaborative, and able to influence at pace.Why Join?This is an outstanding opportunity for a high-calibre FP&A leader who wants to accelerate their career within a FTSE environment.
