JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Cluster Senior Sales Manager responsible for proactive business development and account management of corporate groups, meetings & events, and business transient segments. In this role, you will uncover new customers, foster long-term relationships, and deliver exceptional customer service with a solutions-focused approach.
As a key driver of revenue growth, you will bring a strategic mindset, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to identify and manage complex new opportunities and create tailored solutions that exceed client expectations.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifies and pursues new business opportunities for all five Cluster Hotels, generating leads within the corporate segment across group, catering, and business transient.
- Develops and strengthens relationships with existing accounts to foster long term partnerships and ensure repeat business.
- Takes ownership of deployed segment and drives new initiatives to generate enquiries and increase enquiry conversion.
- Work in alignment with the hotels' strategic priorities, ensuring sales efforts support overall business goals.
- Collaborates with the cluster team, hotel teams and wider sales teams (such as Area and Global Sales) on client activity to maximise client engagement.
- Organises and conducts site inspections and FAM trips; arranges client meetings and activity.
- Maintains clear communication with hotels and stakeholders on sales activity, progress and results.
- Supports Groups & Events Team with enquiry closure by leveraging experience and expertise of the corporate segment.
- Attends networking and industry events; monitors local, national and international business outlook to deepen knowledge of deployed segments and wider hotel strategies.
- Supports enquiry process and contracts for complex bookings, providing tailored solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Creates and executes strategic account plans to achieve hotel and individual goals.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date account data and reporting
- Adapts to evolving business conditions; leads tasks and projects assigned by management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

- Proven experience in a corporate hotel sales role, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.
- Demonstrates strong commercial acumen and experience of working with dynamic hotel sales strategies
- This is a hotel based role; location is driven by client appointments and visibility across the five London Cluster hotels.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Strong communication skills with a confident communication style across different channels
- Excellent selling skills and understanding of sales processes from enquiry generation through to contract
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to problem-solve and seek solutions
- Ability to up-sell products and services and can bring a sale to closure
- Outstanding relationship management skills; ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders and associates
- Demonstrates tenacity and resilience in business development, consistently seeking new opportunities
- Skilled in implementing successful sales strategies and executing account plans for multiple hotels
- Proven experience of corporate group, catering and transient business sales
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Demonstrates strong leadership qualities and sound decision-making skills to drive results
- Understands revenue management principles and account profitability
- Proficient in standard software applications and hotel systems
