About Us:

Lunar Park is a new street food-style food court launching soon in Birmingham, offering a variety of cuisines in one vibrant space. We're currently looking for dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistants to join our team across multiple units, including:

  • Mexican
  • Pizza
  • Burgers
  • Jacket Potatoes
  • Charcoal Grilled

Job Summary:

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the kitchen team in preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth back-of-house operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with kitchen experience who wants to grow within a fast-paced and exciting new concept.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food prep and basic cooking tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and equipment
  • Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
  • Support the team during busy service hours
  • Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
  • Follow instructions from Team Leaders and kitchen supervisors

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and follow instructions
  • Responsible attitude and attention to cleanliness
  • Common sense and reliability are essential
