About The Role
To ensure that all housekeeping areas within the hotel are cleaned and presented to the Hastings Standard for the greatest enjoyment of our guests.

• To clean and service corridors and public areas of the hotel. Typical tasks include vacuuming, mopping, cleaning toilets, stripping and making beds.
• To ensure all equipment and materials are used in the correct manner and any problems are reported immediately.
• To always maintain the security of the hotel and stock, immediately reporting any breaches and dealing with lost property in accordance with company procedures.
• To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
• To be knowledgeable about the hotel offerings and be proactive in the sale of these to guests.
• Greeting guests and responding to their queries.
• To ensure that guest concerns are dealt with politely and efficiently, reporting them to the Supervisor/Manager on duty.
• To comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
• Any other duties as required by management.
