Key Account Manager

The Role
You will be working in the UK Sales Department and will report to the Business Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving short- and long-term sales and margin targets with within the UK & Ireland. You will play a crucial role in expanding business relationships with important accounts, identifying new sales opportunities and contributing to the goal of increasing sales in the domestic segment in the coming years.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic key account sales plan within the available budget.
- Strengthen and develop relationships with key accounts and their stakeholders.
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities through continuous consultation with existing key accounts and prospects.
- Represent Spirotech at industry fairs, presentations, and networking events.
- Work closely with marketing to conduct market research and support sales initiatives.
- Provide first-line technical advice to key accounts and coordinate with Technical Support for complex issues.
- Ensure compliance with national annual contracts and monitor payment behavior of key accounts.
- Provides indirect leadership by guiding, training and controlling the activities of key accounts.
Profile
- You have completed a University of Applied Sciences degree in a commercial and/or technical field.
- Preferably, you hold a formal qualification in the Heating and Ventilation industry, obtained through education or work experience.
- Several years of experience in a commercial-technical advisory position and in developing and implementing key account plans, with a focus on domestic sales.
- Strong knowledge of heating and cooling systems.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
