An exciting opportunity has become available within the Medicine Division for an inspirational, driven and motivated Directorate Manager. You will be part of the Directorate's Management team, working in a busy and fast paced environment and assisting with the operational management, performance and strategic direction.
The role will support the Trusts commitment to delivering high quality, safe and effective care and will have a bespoke portfolio of services that will be led by the Triumvirate for each area.

Candidates must be able to participate in the Trust senior manager on call (SMOC) as required through the Trust on call rota.

You will work with the clinical director and matron for the areas within your portfolio as a triumvirate, leading and shaping the current and future services provision for the borough of Wigan.
Ensuring the provision of high quality, safe services in line with performance indicators is key to this role as you will be responsible for the day to day delivery of aspects of operational performance, including key performance targets as well as finance and governance arrangements.
You must have a high level of organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, be an excellent communicator and work well within a multi-disciplinary team.
