We're Hiring: Chef de Partie (Full-Time) | Garden Centre Restaurant

Hours: 37.5

About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Chef de partie to support our kitchen team in delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced but relaxed setting. You'll be preparing a varied menu using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and contributing to daily specials and menu planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard, consistently and efficiently
  • Work closely with the Head Chef, Senior Chef and Front of House to ensure smooth service
  • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times
  • Work both stations (Hot & Cold)
  • Baking
  • Ability to work the pass
  • Assist in stock control, ordering, and minimizing waste

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven cooking experience in a restaurant, café, bistro, or similar kitchen (minimum 1–2 years)
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to manage prep and service for high volumes (up to 150 covers)
  • Food hygiene certification (Level 2 or above preferred)
  • Passion for quality, presentation, and seasonal ingredients

Monday - OFF

Tuesday - Friday 8am - 4pm

Alternate Weekends (one weekend off, one weekend on)

Saturday 8-4pm

Sunday 8:30-4pm
