Sales Support & Administration
The Eastlake Group is a leading provider of products and services to the workplace: a commercial interiors specialist providing design, interior fit-out, furniture and logistical services to both private and public sector clients across the UK.
We have been incredibly successful over the past six years, managing exceptional growth through the COVID crisis and recovery periods. Thanks to the hard work of our small but dedicated team, we have continued to build our client base, grow our team and have seen sustained growth over the past four years.
Due to sustained contract wins and planned acquisitions, we have a requirement for the right person to join the business in a sales support and administrative capacity.
The Role:
Responsible for supporting our sales and management team to raise, track and administer projects from both a logistical and documentational standing, the SS&A role is a key part of our business for which we need a highly organised and capable team member.
The administration role is extremely diverse in its responsibilities and will require a highly motivated and organised individual, proficient with basic Microsoft Office programmes (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Publisher etc) and capable of liaising with personnel at every level of our industry across both client and supplier bases.
Responsibilities:
The role responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the sales and management team across all aspects of administration and accounts
• Raising and tracking of quotations, purchase orders, invoices and other documentation
• Updating and monitoring of our sales and operational systems
• Assisting with the creation of sales proposals and presentations
• Liaising with both clients and suppliers
• Coordinating logistical elements of project delivery
While experience within a similar business or within our industry will be valued, it is by no means essential. We are looking for someone to be an instrumental part of our business as we continue to develop over the coming years, and as such we are looking for the right person with the right attitude who wants to create a senior position of real value for themselves within a highly ambitious and growing business. We believe that knowledge and experience can be built up over time, attitude and work ethic cannot.
The Ideal Applicant:
All of the standard buzzwords apply for this role: enthusiastic, organised, self-motivated etc etc However, we are looking for the right person, motivated and driven to make this role their own. Critically, you must:
• Be confident speaking on the phone to both clients and suppliers
• Proficient with basic Microsoft office applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc)
• Have good organisational skills and ability to multi-task
• Able to effectively prioritise multiple tasks for different team members
• Capable of working closely within a small team
Due to the nature of our business, applicants should have a full driving license to allow for occasional visits to client sites throughout the region.
The Path Forward:
We believe in having the right people and enabling them to grow into their roles within the business. The sales support role allows for further development within the management of the business or into sales as we continue to grow.
As an SS&A team member, you will learn at the side of senior sales and management staff, learning how commercial interiors projects are developed, specified, negotiated and delivered to completion. This role has become available as the previous SS&A has been promoted into account management within the team.
The Hours:
The position is a full-time role and will initially be mostly office based out of our main office in Bellshill. We believe in having a healthy balance between working and personal lives, and will take steps to ensure that staff have a suitable home working setup and have the flexibility to be able to work from home when necessary, which will become more feasible as they settle into the role and can assume responsibilities more independently. Our standard working hours are 8:30am - 4:30pm
The Salary:
£22,000 - £25,000 Negotiable depending upon experience and relevant skillset.
