THIS ROLE IS 90% REMOTE WORKING FROM HOME WITH INFREQUENT TRAVEL INTO LONDON AND READING FOR EVENTS. IDEALLY LIVE WITHIN 1.5 HOURS TRAVEL OF LONDON.
Positions available for Full Time hours per week (Monday to Friday).
Executive Leaders Network (ELN) is a global event company established in 2013. We host B2B events, conferences, roundtables, webinars, and dinners, both in-person and virtually.
We're looking for dedicated and highly organised Event Co-Ordinators. Who will undertake a full range of administrative, project management and event duties whilst managing multiple virtual and in-person events from start to finish.
Confidence on the phone and video is essential, and you must have a passion for communication and relationship-building.
Whilst this is a remote role, travel to our in-person events in the UK will be required occasionally, which may involve overnight stays. Full training will be provided, though an understanding and passion for the events sector, along with relevant background experience, would be beneficial.
Duties Include:
- Managing the end-to-end planning and coordination of events.
- Handling event administration, including securing attendees' diaries and maintaining strong relationships.
- Liaising with internal departments such as marketing and systems to ensure smooth event execution.
- Attending video meetings with attendees, clients, colleagues, and suppliers - Must be well-presented and comfortable on video chat.
- Delivering excellent service and ensuring a seamless event experience.
- Problem-solving and responding to last-minute event challenges.
- Stakeholder management.
- Assisting with event logistics and ensuring all elements run to schedule.
- Supporting basic event marketing efforts, including email outreach and promotional activities.
Qualities Needed:
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently with the ability to take initiative, anticipate potential challenges, and act decisively.
- Excellent phone and video communication skills.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Proactive problem solver and team player.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Attention to detail and good time management skills.
- A well-organised multi-tasker.
Essential for this role:
- A reliable PC/Laptop (ELN will install a virtual desktop; Apple products not compatible).
- A strong internet connection (capable of supporting calls and video chats).
- A dedicated home office setup free from distractions.
