Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the restaurant industry, with a focus on team management and food safety. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to ensure a high-quality dining experience for our guests while maintaining efficient kitchen operations.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and culinary excellence.
  • Manage daily restaurant operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service and foster a positive work environment.
  • Assist in menu planning and development, collaborating with chefs to create innovative dishes that meet customer preferences.
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures, to maximise profitability.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct training sessions for new staff on operational procedures, food safety practices, and customer service standards.

Skills

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers alike.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
