Were now looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our busy team and play a key role in delivering an accurate, efficient, and professional payroll service for our clients.
About The Role
As a Payroll Administrator, youll be part of our experienced payroll team, helping to manage end-to-end payroll processes for a variety of clients. Youll ensure everything runs smoothlyfrom processing payments to handling employee querieswhile maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain payroll records for client employees, including new starters, leavers, and changes.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC legislation and Real Time Information (RTI) submissions.
- Calculate and process statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and holiday pay.
- Assist with pension auto-enrolment and related submissions.
- Reconcile payroll reports and deal promptly with payroll-related queries.
- Support the Payroll Manager with continuous improvements to payroll systems and processes.
- Assist with year-end procedures including P60s and P11Ds.
About You
- Previous experience in payroll or finance administration (preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and comfortable with payroll software (e.g. BrightPay, Sage, or similar).
- Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC processes.
- A team player with great communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Eager to learn and develop within a professional accountancy environment.
