We are looking for an enthusiastic, Software Developer to join our small, collaborative in-house development team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to expand their skills while contributing to meaningful improvements across our organisation.

As a Software Developer, you'll help deliver Orwell's digital strategy by developing, configuring and maintaining innovative software solutions that enhance service quality, improve value for money, and deliver exceptional experiences through a professional and customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help integrate our internal systems using API's and direct SQL connectivity, working with automation platforms such as Power Automate, n8n, or custom-built solutions to help build and shape our data warehouse.
  • Support the design, development, and maintenance of applications built on Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Dataverse.
  • To work in a structured way, following industry best practices and ensuring work is fully documented.

About you

  • You have a minimum of 2 years equivalent work experience in a similar role.
  • You will have experience in building data driven business applications using native and web-based frameworks, with a solid grasp of programming principles, SQL databases and queries, and front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • To excel in this role, you will be confident across the full project lifecycle, from UI/UX design to testing and documentation, and proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and related applications.
