About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Junior IT Support Technician to join our team in an office-based capacity. This role is focused on providing day-to-day IT support to staff. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation, a willingness to learn, and the confidence to handle a wide range of software and hardware challenges.

There is a strong long-term development path into web development, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to expand their skill set and grow within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line IT support to internal teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
  • Windows 11 systems.
  • Basic networking (routers, connectivity, cabling).
  • Printers and office hardware.
  • General software and hardware incidents.
  • Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment.
  • Document solutions, processes, and recurring issues.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a 1st Line/ Junior IT Support role.
  • Basic understanding of routers, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting.
  • Good working knowledge of Windows 11.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence in addressing a wide range of IT issues across hardware and software.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, with a love for technology.

Desirable:

  • Interest or basic experience in web development.
