Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques, including TIG welding, and have experience with fabrication and assembly processes. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with hand tools and power tools effectively. The Welder will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on sheet metal and other materials, ensuring adherence to safety standards and specifications.

Duties

  • Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques as required.
  • Fabricate components from sheet metal according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to assemble parts and ensure proper fitment.
  • Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the welding process, applying basic mechanical knowledge as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in welding, particularly with TIG welding techniques.
  • Familiarity with fabrication processes and sheet metal work.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
