Welders Mate

: We require a welders mate to join our growing team. The role involves assisting fitting balustrades and wall rail on building sites around London with the possibility of travel. All tools, PPE will be provided. You will be able to work on your own and with others. We value our employees, have low staff turnover and are looking for people to join us and grow with the company. Location: Primarily London based. There is the possibility of travel further afield within the UK. If travelling all costs, lodging and meal allowance are included. We would expect to give you prior notice, however the majority of work will be London and surrounding areas.

Hours worked: We work Monday to Friday. Occasional Saturday work by agreement. You will start work on site at 0800 and finish at 1600 with 45mins for breaks. 28 days paid holiday per year and consideration for sick pay and compassionate leave etc.

Responsibilities/qualifications/character: You will hold a minimum of a green labourers CSCS card, assisting forming up balustrade wreaths/returns on landings and half landings within stair cores. You will also be tasked with assisting fitting wall mounted rails. Primary tools will be drills, grinders and dyno-files. You will work with a welder, assisting them with measuring, drilling, painting etc. Safety is paramount and you will need to work in a methodical and safe manner. You will be able to liaise with clients and represent our company well. Problem announcers need not apply, you must have a problem solving, positive mindset.

Pay: £120.00-£130.00 per day
