The Role

Senior OTC Exotic Equity Derivatives Trade Support (Senior Associate/ up-to VP Levels) with Python, or SQL

Martis Search are representing a City of London based, but global Fintech Investment Bank to hire a senior "OTC Exotic Equity Derivatives Trade Support" SME. Our client is willing to look from "Senior Associate
"
up-to "VP" Levels.

Our client requires someone with extensive "Exotic OTC Equity Derivatives Trade Support" experience (minimum of x 3-years) gained either from a reputable high volume trading Investment Bank, Brokerage, Prop Trader, Asset Manager, or Hedge Fund background.

Our client is happy to look from "Senior Associate
"
up-to "VP" Levels and anyone who has aspirations from greater responsibility i.e. management of Trade Support Analysts in the team, leading high level change projects (as well as the BAU/ day-to-day Operations tasks).

The chosen incumbent must have a top-tier Redbrick/ Russell Group university education with a minimum of a 2:1 in a numerate based subject such as Mathematics, BSc in Economics, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or Biology etc (but not limited to).

FYI, this is not a stepping-stone into the Front Office. Our client is looking for someone who solely wants a career in Operations and Trade Support.

This experience could be strong "Exotic Equity Derivative Trade Support" experience, ideally with a good working knowledge of Structured Notes. Our client is ideally looking for:

  • Someone who has have strong Exotic Equity Derivatives, Structured Notes, OTC Structured and ideally working in conjunction with Prime Brokers and Corporate Actions.
  • Python coding experience – highly desirable (working knowledge of using Python within an Operations/ Trade Support role).
  • SQL coding experience – highly desirable.
  • Someone who able to co-ordinate projects independently.
  • Be Analytical, attention to detail.
  • Someone who has strong Corporate Actions wanting to get into a Trade Support role (highly desirable, but not mandatory).
  • Someone who is of graduate calibre with a 2:1 degree in a numerate based subject.

The company's front-end growth has given rise to lots of growth opportunities in support functions. Our client is expanding in several International locations including London and due to growth is looking for a multi-asset class Trade Support Analyst.

The role is based on the trading floor and due to the success and growth in the business, our client does prefer people to be in the office x 4-days per week in the office and x 1-days working-from-home.

Products across all related asset-classes (Structured Equity Derivatives, Structured Notes) and develop a good understanding of the entire operational flow and control for a complex business.

Salary
