A global financial-services firm has recently begun executing OTC derivative trades for an Australian client, creating new reporting obligations under the
ASIC Derivative Transaction Rules (Reporting)
.
They're looking for a
Regulatory Reporting Specialist
with strong technical and regulatory experience to review the current manual reporting process and design a more accurate, automated solution.
You'll collaborate with compliance, operations, and technology teams to interpret ASIC's requirements, define data-mapping logic, and ensure smooth delivery of reporting data through
S&P
into
DTCC
. This role suits someone who enjoys working at the intersection of regulation, data, and technology.
What you'll bring:
- Experience in OTC derivative reporting (ASIC, EMIR, CFTC, or MAS)
- Knowledge of trade repository workflows (DTCC, UnaVista, REGIS-TR, etc.)
- Strong data-management and Excel skills (CSV handling, reconciliation, validation)
- Ability to translate regulatory rules into clear, structured data requirements
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment
