We are recruiting a part-time experienced Link Building & Digital PR Specialist to create and implement large-scale link growth campaigns for our agency. You will create and execute the digital public relations campaigns, create and maintain media lists, and build up organic link acquisition efforts.
Job Outcomes:
- Create online PR campaigns for AccuraCast that drive press coverage on marketing, finance, travel, B2B, ecommerce and sports business publications.
- Identify suitable stories every month for the marketing press and at least one of our target industry sectors.
- Write press releases, outreach to trade publications, mainstream press, magazines, blogs, journals, podcasts, events, and other media outlets.
- Secure high-quality coverage and organic links to the website every single month.
Job Functions:
Media Relations
- You will specialise in and focus on link building through high quality online PR. This means getting editorial links from reputable, high quality online publications.
- You will create and maintain company media lists for specific target sectors to ensure appropriate journalists are being targeted with relevant news.
- Write and edit PR materials including press releases, media briefing documents, pitches and talking points.
- Develop media pitches and conduct proactive outreach to targeted journalists.
- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant journalists, stakeholders and organisations.
Establish Thought Leadership
- Identify opportunities to promote the agency's thought leadership through editorial and bi-lined article opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to have agency employees speak to the target industry media.
- Work with internal teams to develop PR opportunities and campaigns.
- Identify relevant calls for speakers, manage submissions, and support events strategy with PR.
General PR
- Identify opportunities to raise the profile of our agency in our target industries.
- Serve as social media marketing support.
- Interface with the agency's and client's leadership to build and execute a robust digital PR strategy.
Successful candidates will have a track record of multiple successful online PR campaigns that have resulted in 100+ links from high-authority publications. You will need to be an exceptional writer who can perform tactical tasks effectively and with minimal supervision, develop collaborative relationships with team members, display effective communication skills and act proactively across all areas of responsibility. This role requires being outgoing, able to multitask, problem solve, manage multiple timelines and occasionally work across functions.
Depending on the level of seniority, the candidate will work 1-2 days per week. Work will be done from our offices in Camden Town, North London. The contract will include a 3 month probation period.
Qualifications Required:
- Demonstrable experience with organic link building & digital PR - you will be asked to show examples where you have been directly responsible for press mentions and acquisition of editorial (not paid) links at scale.
- 3-5 years of Digital PR & link building (off-page SEO) experience.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Excellent, native-level written English (copy writing skills will be tested).
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Professional with a full understanding of area of specialisation.
- Right to live and work in the UK.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred):
- PR / link building experience in one of the following sectors: Agency, Finance
- Candidates with a degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, English or Business.
- Experience working in a PR or link building agency.
- Demonstrated excellence in writing and storytelling.
- Proven track record of success in PR.
- Known to or regularly in contact with journalists in our target sectors.
