Senior PR Account Executive

**About the role**

Your role will be to successfully pitch your clients stories into the media and integrate social media into PR campaigns.

Key areas or responsibility are:
Client Management
- Helping to manage clients and projects.
- Giving advice and recommendations to clients.
- Manage client communication.

Media Relations
- Follow the news and position clients and products within the wider narrative.
- Pitch content to journalists, bloggers, and analysts.
- Respond to breaking news for clients, reacting quickly to emerging stories.
- Research, identify and approach appropriate media contacts.

Content
- Draft a broad range of written materials.
- Create press materials and compelling content for traditional and digital media.
- Create valuable briefing sheets for clients to use.
- Develop knowledge around how to find a good news angle.

Digital/Social Media
- Use social media to continuously optimise PR campaigns.
- Provide social media insight and manage digital activity.
- Actively work to increase the use of digital services.

Reporting and Analysis
- Tracking and reporting on media activity.
- Reviewing reports and metrics and reporting to senior team members.

This is a team orientated role where you will share your knowledge and mentor others. There will also be the chance to support the team with other initiatives, support the improvement of systems and procedures and promote the Flame PR brand at every opportunityand across social media.

**Essential experience and skills required**:

- Degree educated ideally in English, PR, Communications, Marketing, Business or Journalism.
- Previous PR experience gained ideally in B2B tech/fintech with media relations and content development management experience.
- Strong relationships with the press and established media contacts.
- Strong attention to details.
- Good communication skills.
- Driven, ambitious and willing to contribute to the business.

London office based with flexibility. Standard hours are generally Monday to Friday 9-5.00.
