Blackpool FC Community Trust is the official charity of Blackpool FC, based at Bloomfield Road Stadium. Working with residents as young as 2 years old up to adults in the later stages of life, BFCCT provide a diverse range of programmes to increase social inclusion opportunities; improve physical fitness, health, and education; and lessen involvement in anti-social behaviour.

In recent years the Trust has grown significantly and has become an established organisation, providing something for everybody, that every Blackpool FC fan and resident should be involved in and very proud of.

The Football Enrichment Officer will play a key role in the delivery and development of enrichment activities to compliment the academic side of Blackpool FC Sports College. Taking a role in the coaching of the college football teams, the postholder will be experienced in coaching football, confident when working with young people, as well as passionate about using sport as a vehicle to develop individuals.

The post holder will work alongside the BFC Sports College tutors and College Manager to develop the football and sports coaching enrichment offer and in the recruitment of new students to BFC Sports College.

Duties will include the following:

  • Planning and delivery of high quality and professional standard BTEC football team training
  • Supporting learners with CPD as part of the Coaching academy pathway
  • Support in the recruitment of new learners to further and higher education pathways.
  • Support the enrichment programme for the Sports College
  • Supporting, where required, other related projects and new projects within the education pathways.

Subject to enhanced DBS and prohibition checks where applicable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,897.00-£28,552.00 per year

Work Location: In person
