**Job Title: Club Shop / Ticket Office Assistant**
**Reports to: Ticket Office / Retail Manager**
**Location: Bloomfield Road, Blackpool**

**Hours: Evenings & weekends for match days**
**Salary: From £7.55 - £12.21 per hour**

**Who we are**:
Blackpool Football Club is an English professional association football club based in the seaside town of Blackpool, Lancashire.

The club was founded in 1887 and has a very storied history, from being a founding member of the Lancashire League in 1889, rising to the Top-Flight of the Football League (the old First Division) in 1930, to winning the FA Cup in 1953 and being promoted to the Premier League in 2010 (becoming the first club to gain promotion from every division of the Football League via the play-off system.)

The team are competing in League 1, the third tier of the English Football
League.

The club have played their home games at Bloomfield Road since 1901.

**About the role**:
We are looking to recruit a Club Shop / Ticket Office Assistant to provide a positive and friendly experience for all customers.

The successful applicant will have ability to communicate effectively whilst working in a team or on their own initiative.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Provide excellent customer service and support to all customers and fans.
- Processing ticket orders.
- Serving all visitors to our club shop.
- Assisting in the picking and dispatch of online orders.
- Carry out stock replenishment, ensuring all areas of the store remain tidy.
- Maintaining high standards at all times.
- To be able to work flexible hours where the role of the job requires.
- Comply with all Club policies.
- Promote the Blackpool Football Club brand and ethos in a professional, strong and positive manner.

**Person Specification**

**Qualifications (Desirable)**
- A recognised customer service or equivalent qualification.

**Experience (Essential)**
- Experience of sales processing

**Experience (Desirable)**
- Previous retail / customer service cash handling and card experience. processing.

**Knowledge & Skills (Essential)**
- Ability to build effective working Knowledge or understanding of the relationships.
- Strong customer service skills and industry. ability to build rapport with all internal and external customers.
- Proven written and oral communication skills and the ability to articulate information.
- IT literate, with the ability to use the full suite of Microsoft Office package.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.

**Knowledge & Skills (Desirable)**
- Knowledge or understanding of the sports and / or entertainment industry.

**Personal Qualities**
- A friendly, positive ‘can do’ and courteous attitude.
- Strong team-working skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Flexibility to manage the different priorities in the role and meet the demands and changing needs of the company.

**Recruitment checks**: You will also be required to provide details of referees for the previous five years working history or referees whilst in full time education.
