What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Pension Administrator, you'll support the smooth running of our pension operations while guiding junior colleagues and contributing to a positive, collaborative work environment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Advanced Pension Administration

  • Manage more complex pension administration tasks with accuracy and confidence.
  • Act as a Level 'B' signatory – conducting first checks, preparing documents, and signing alongside a Level 'A' authoriser.
  • Authorise and release payments as a Level 'B' EQ authoriser.

Client & Member Support

  • Be a reliable point of contact for member queries, including more detailed or technical requests.
  • Prepare initial responses to complaints before passing them to management for sign-off.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor junior team members – offering advice, feedback and support.
  • Encourage teamwork and positive working behaviours, helping maintain a respectful, productive office culture.
  • Assist with workload management, especially during staff absences.
  • Suggest improvements and share constructive feedback.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain accurate records across Viewpoint and other systems.
  • Follow checklists and processes to ensure consistent, compliant administration.
  • Liaise confidently with investment houses, intermediaries, IFAs, BDMs and internal departments (accounts, dealings, compliance).
  • Support HMRC and GITO reporting requirements.
  • Assist with income-related tasks, from calculations to payment processing and tax submissions.
