Stock Assistant – Luxury Womenswear (Iconic London Department Store)

An established luxury womenswear brand is looking for a proactive Stock Assistant to support its concession in a leading London department store. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organisation and operations but wants to work closely with luxury product, styling and a high-standard retail team.

Key Responsibilities – What you'll do

  • Support all back-of-house operations, including deliveries, transfers, stockroom organisation and replenishment to the shopfloor.
  • Ensure bestsellers and key looks are always available on the floor, flagging low stock or sizing gaps to the management team.
  • Maintain a clean, well-structured stockroom with clear labelling, sizing and category organisation to maximise speed and efficiency.
  • Work closely with Sales Associates and Managers to prioritise requests and locate product quickly during busy periods.
  • Support basic visual merchandising tasks such as replenishing rails, tidying displays and ensuring product is presented to brand standards.
  • Assist with stock counts and audits, following procedures accurately.
  • Use internal systems for stock checks, transfers and basic reporting, following all company processes.

Profile – What we're looking for

  • Experience in retail stockroom, back-of-house or a similar operational role (premium or luxury experience is a plus).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail – you enjoy structure and keeping things in order.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise when multiple requests come at once.
  • Reliable, punctual and team-focused, with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
  • Interest in luxury fashion, womenswear and styling, with a desire to learn about product and collections.

What's on offer

  • The chance to work with a respected luxury womenswear brand in one of London's most prestigious retail environments.
  • Exposure to luxury clients, product training and best-in-class retail standards.
  • Supportive team culture with opportunities to grow into more client-facing or senior back-of-house roles over time.
