We're Hiring: Finance Administrator (Part-Time)

Hours:
30 per week


Salary:
Competitive, based on experience

Join our dynamic, long-established design, print and display company as a Finance Administrator.

This is a key role ensuring the smooth and effective running of all financial operations and supporting management with reporting and administration.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing cashflow, and preparing monthly and quarterly reports.

You'll also assist with payroll, VAT compliance, and year-end submissions, while supporting HR and general office administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finance Management:
    Process client and supplier invoices, manage accounts payable/receivable, and maintain financial files.
  • Reconciliations:
    Weekly bank reconciliations, monthly balance sheet checks, and creditor reconciliations.
  • Reporting:
    Prepare monthly management accounts, profit & loss, balance sheets, and cashflow statements.
  • Payroll Support:
    Collate overtime data, reconcile payroll reports, and ensure HMRC compliance.
  • Tax & Compliance:
    Submit VAT returns, pay Corporation Tax, and assist with P11D and Class 1A calculations.
  • Administration:
    Manage insurances, HR records, service contracts, and tenant invoicing.
  • Communication:
    Liaise with clients, suppliers, and colleagues to resolve queries and discrepancies.

What We're Looking For

  • Higher Accounting Certification
    (minimum).
  • Strong experience with
    Sage accounting software
    and solid knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proficient in
    Excel
    and comfortable working independently.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
