Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the construction management team by ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, a solid background in office administration, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the construction management team.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to ongoing projects.
- Manage data entry tasks, ensuring all information is up-to-date and correctly filed.
- Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for document preparation, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Handle phone communications with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist with invoicing and financial tracking.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as required.
- Support project scheduling and coordination efforts by maintaining project timelines.
- Perform clerical duties such as typing correspondence, filing documents, and managing office supplies.
Requirements
- Proven office experience with a focus on administrative roles.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks.
- Previous clerical experience is preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone and in writing.
