We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Driver/Operator to join our team and deliver exceptional service across various transportation needs. Duties

  • Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
  • Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
  • Execute route driving assignments with precision, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records.
  • Load and secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit; ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues promptly.

Experience

  • Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving roles, preferably with delivery driver experience across diverse freight types.
  • Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks confidently and safely.
  • Familiarity with driving refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is highly desirable.
  • Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other equipment when required.
  • Knowledge of route planning techniques to optimize delivery schedules while maintaining safety standards.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the equipment operated (e.g., tanker endorsement).
  • Experience working with freight that requires special handling or securement methods.
