There's so much more to HEINEKEN than meets the eye and right now, we're looking for a Credit Risk Controller to join our Star Pubs Finance team in Edinburgh.

About the role

Credit Control is more than simply collecting payments. Building strong relationships with our customers and colleagues to keep pubs open and trading is essential to the success of Star Pubs.

Our team of Credit Risk Controllers are each aligned to a regional area of the UK and build strong ongoing relationships with our leased pub operators. Credit Controllers collect payment for drinks orders and rent and agree and monitor repayment plans for debt. Working closely with our field-based Business Development Managers and Regional Operations Directors, you will ensure that the right commercial decisions are taken to keep our pubs trading while minimising credit risk, always ensuring compliance with Credit Policy and Pubs Code.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for someone who can hold confident and robust conversations with our customers. Making decisions that benefit both us and the outlets and working at pace will be key.

If you;

  • Are comfortable working with numbers and bank reconciliations
  • Have a good understanding of the Microsoft Suite including Excel
  • Can build relationships with internal and external stakeholders through great communication skills
  • Have an eye for detail and can maintain accurate records
  • Experience with MI Reporting and Power BI would be fantastic, though not essential
