About the Role
FOX Managed Solutions is looking for an experienced Client Services professional to join our team as either an
Account Manager
or
Account Director
, depending on the successful applicant's level of knowledge, experience, and capability.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role supporting major Direct Mail and Print clients across the UK and internationally. You will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of client projects, from estimating and planning through to production, delivery, and invoicing – ensuring accuracy, consistency, and world-class service at every stage.
We are seeking someone with strong experience in
Direct Mail, Print Manufacturing, Fulfilment
, and ISO-governed operational environments. If you thrive on detail, enjoy managing multiple projects simultaneously, and are confident communicating with both clients and internal production teams, this role is for you.
What You'll Be Doing
Client & Project Management
- Manage day-to-day client relationships, ensuring clear communication, accuracy, and alignment with expectations.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of print, DM, fulfilment, and distribution projects.
- Ensure job bags, artwork, data briefs, postal selections, and production instructions are correct and compliant.
- Work closely with Production & Operations, Commercial & IT, Data, Studio, and external partners.
Quality, Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001 standards across all project workflows.
- Ensure all FSC Chain-of-Custody documentation and artwork claims are correct.
- Support audit readiness through accurate records, version control, and secure data handling.
Estimating, Commercial & Invoicing
- Prepare quotations and ensure project costs and margins are correct.
- Raise accurate invoices within the required timeframe.
- Liaise with suppliers, postal providers, and internal teams to validate costs and lead times.
Delivering World-Class Service
- Proactively resolve issues and anticipate client needs.
- Maintain strong communication between clients and internal teams.
- Support FOX's

What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from two levels of experience:
Account Manager Level (Experienced Professional)
Candidates at this level will bring:
- 3–5 years
of account management experience in Direct Mail, Print, or Marketing Services. - Strong understanding of postal services (DSA/Royal Mail), DM workflows, and production processes.
- Solid experience managing multiple projects in Print IQ or similar MIS platforms.
- Confidence liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal production teams.
- A hands-on approach, strong attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills.
Account Director Level (Senior Professional)
Candidates at this level will additionally demonstrate:
- 5+ years
in senior client-ownership roles within DM, Print, or Marketing Services. - Proven success managing complex, high-value client portfolios.
- Ability to mentor and support colleagues, acting as an escalation point.
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking capability.
- Experience contributing to broader business development and growth initiatives.
- (We are not seeking a "salesperson", but industry insight, strong relationships, and commercial maturity are important at this level.)
Essential Skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
- Good working knowledge of Print IQ, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems (Zoho ideal).
- Understanding of ISO processes and secure handling of client data.
- Full UK driving licence.
