About LegalTechTalk
LegalTechTalk is the largest legal event in Europe and is on a mission to build the world's largest legal event; a global platform that serves as the #1 catalyst for innovation and transformation across the legal industry - with the main goal of driving positive change.
We're not just talking about change, we're driving it. By bringing together the brightest minds in law, technology, and business, LegalTechTalk is where the future of legal is being designed, debated, and deployed. From disruptive startups to global law firms, in-house legal teams to regulators, we're uniting the full ecosystem to spark real progress.
This isn't another conference. It's a movement, reshaping how legal services are delivered, how legal teams operate, and how technology redefines what's possible in law.
In addition to the main event, we also create & host a range of digital media products throughout the year to better serve our community and clients all year round.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and research new potential sponsors and partners within the legal, legal-tech, compliance, regulatory, fintech and wider professional services ecosystem.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline of prospective sponsors (from lead generation, through qualification, proposal, negotiation, close).
Prepare tailored sponsorship proposals and packages—mapping sponsor goals (brand visibility, lead generation, product positioning, networking) to event assets and activation opportunities.
Work with internal teams (event programming, marketing, operations, client services) to develop compelling sponsor offerings, ensure deliverables are clear and act as liaison through contracting and delivery.
Achieve and exceed agreed sponsorship revenue targets and key performance indicators.
Attend sales meetings and presentations (telephone, video, in-person), including participation at industry events and networking to promote sponsorship opportunities.
Report regularly on sales forecasting, pipeline status, sponsor contract progress, and post-event deployment.
Ensure excellent sponsor experience: onboarding sponsors, briefing them, managing expectations, supporting their activation and following up to measure success and gather feedback.
Contribute to ideas for new sponsorship formats, partnership models, revenue streams and product innovations to keep offerings fresh and differentiated.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) in B2B sales, preferably in event sponsorship, media/advertising sales, partnerships or account/business development.
Demonstrable success in securing sponsors or large-scale commercial deals and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills—comfortable presenting, negotiating, building relationships at senior levels (C-suite, marketing directors, business unit heads).
Strategic and commercial mindset—able to understand sponsor business objectives and translate them into value through event/partnership opportunities.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail—ability to manage multiple prospects, contracts, deliverables simultaneously.
Self-motivated, resilient and target-driven, with a pro-active "hunter" mentality (able to generate leads rather than only manage inbound interest).
Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment with shifting priorities.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems.
Willingness to travel (if required) for client meetings, industry events and onsite event days.
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience working in the legal sector, legal-technology, professional services, compliance, or related ecosystem.
Previous experience selling sponsorships for large conferences, expos or forums.
Understanding of digital/cross-platform sponsorship models (live streams, podcasts, webinars, online communities).
Experience with contract negotiation and legal/financial terms.
What We Offer
Opportunity to join a high-growth event in a dynamic, evolving industry (legal + tech).
A collaborative, supportive team environment with marketing, operations, programming specialists.
Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission/bonus structure tied to sponsorship revenue.
Professional development and exposure to senior contacts across the legal-tech ecosystem.
Hybrid/flexible working arrangements, with office base in London
