Support Worker – North Cave

Pay: Up to £12.81 per hour

Contract type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our supported living service in North Cave. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people and adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.

Shift Pattern – Nights (Sleep-in included 11:00pm – 07:30am) However waking nights to begin with to support transition - This will be explained during interview

Week 1

  • Monday: 4:30pm – 09:30am
  • Tuesday: 4:30pm – 09:30am
  • Wednesday: Day Off
  • Thursday: Day Off
  • Friday: Day Off
  • Saturday: 4:30pm – 09:30am
  • Sunday: 4:30pm – 09:30am

Week 2

  • Monday: Day Off
  • Tuesday: Day Off
  • Wednesday: 4:30pm – 09:30am
  • Thursday: 4:30pm – 09:30am
  • Friday: 4:30pm – 09:30am
  • Saturday: Day Off
  • Sunday: Day Off

What We're Looking For

We are seeking an individual with:

  • At least 1 years' experience supporting adults with autism and/or learning disabilities.
  • A caring, patient, and professional approach.
  • A willingness to work as part of a team and provide high-quality person-centred care.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
  • The right to work in the United Kingdom (required).

Your Role

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Support individuals in developing independent living skills.
  • Provide personalised care within the home.
  • Assist with personal care and daily routines.
  • Encourage and facilitate leisure activities and exploration.
  • Deliver effective behavioural support.
  • Support with shopping and other essential tasks.
